I have tried alot of others, but none of them gave me the quality of service that I recieve from Garden Networks. They have the best rates and tech support. And to top it off, they are just plain old good people. Something that unfortunatley is not the normal procedure in todays business atmosphere. You are treated as if you are part of the family not just another customer or E-mail address. Not only do they offer their service at a reasonable rate, but they offer personal service along with it. Some of the examples of the personal type service were a phone call the day after I first joined asking if they could be of any assistance and asking if I had any problems. Also they have user meetings so you can get together and meet the people who make it all happen along with other users. Garden Network is the third Internet Provider that I have tried and they are the best by a long shot. It's nice to know that there are still places out there that actually give a damn about customer satisfaction. I was begining to think that I was one of only a few that actually believed in that ethic. The Garden Net is truly a class act. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a provider with an edge. After all we all like to feel like we're important and the Garden does just that. "So there I was in the middle of BLIZZARD OF THE CENTURY (or so various local news teams would have me believe...) when I realized with a shudder of horror.... my brand new Geoport Macintosh certified product was DOWN!!!! I was truly ALONE!!!! Thank heavans that our phone service was still in order, because I placed a phone call to GARDEN NETWORKS, and "neither rain, nor sleet.. " etc kept them from a speedy diagnosis, the temporary loan of a modem (offer limited in some areas!) and I WAS BACK IN CYBERSPACE AGAIN!!!!!! Well, Garden Net has room to grow and improve, but it is absolutely an excellent, high quality, state-of-the-art provider. They have a well- designed Web page that offers good basic services and links to "essential" files, sites,and services. I chose them because of their good ratings, here, on THE LIST. I have now been with them for about two months. They are honest about what they can and cannot do, and deliver what they promise. They are responsive, friendly, and provide consistently good network services at very fair prices. They strike me as "Good People." Their number of subscribers is expanding rapidly and I never have problems with access, system overloads, or other evidence of growing pains. They seem to be good, proactive planners. I am on the net almost every day, and I have not had to think about, or interact with, them at all -- except for initial setup and exchanging some cool web URLs via email . And THAT is about the best comment I have. How often do you think about your house's plumbing? If it's working right, you don't. If you don't have to think about your provider, then they are doing their job right -- letting you concentrate on your interaction with the net. I rate Garden Networks as "Highly Recommended." They've given us step-by-step pointers on the phone, answered all our questions, and are extremely patient! This has been the best service I've experienced with anything having to computer technology.
